nothing else happened, thankfully. his funeral was yesterday and i went. i felt so out of place there bc i didn't even know the kid. i mean i knew his brother, but i didn't even know him. i've only ever been to one other funeral in my life and that was for my grandmother last year, about this time too. he had two younger brothers - the one in my grade (freshman) and one younger than that (5th/6th). they were both crying so hard at the funeral and i just wanted to hug them forever and tell them it'd be okay and that one day they would be okay again, they would be happy again. i think part of my sadness is also just for the family for the above reason. i mean, how do you move on as a parent, knowing your child committed suicide and you didn't see the signs? i don't know how i would, i just hope they can. they're good people and don't deserve all this pain . . . oh god i can't even imagine what they're all going through man . . .

i'm really sorry. i know that must've been terrifying to go through, first the lockdown bc of the possible shooting and then the news of the suicide. it's okay to cry. it's not wrong. at all. i've cried over hearing random strangers committing suicide. this really happy, nice guy that my parents know's son committed suicide a few weeks ago. shot himself. two days later, his wife was diagnosed with some kind of cancer, and died within days or a week. and i cried. no one deserves it. i'm sorry that happened. it's horrible.

oh god that's terrible. i hate emotions sometimes and i hate how we don't understand them half the time . . . but thank you so much ♥ everyone on twig and you and the whole community have been the best. i'm just thankful to have people like you as friends ♥
