The girl settled on the bench, letting out a long sigh. "Is everyone else in your squadron as obnoxious as you?" His partner probably was, seeing as they spent a lot of time together.

She'd been gone longer than usual, and he was on his way to put his book up, anyway. He opened the door he'd seen her go into to see if she'd moved on, and was surprised to see one of the men in the squadron with his hands all over her—one on her mouth, the other roaming. "Get the hell of her, James!" He snapped, hauling the man back by his shirt and throwing a punch at his nose. "She's under my jurisdiction and you're not to touch what's not yours."
